Numbers of churches across our nation are moving away from offering multiple styles of worship and moving back to one style for varieties of reasons. This week, I want to hear from you. Has your church made this transition?
- If so, what led you to do this?
- What has been the good and bad of making the transition?
- What have you learned from this journey?

Yes. Mostly due to worship leader issues, instrumentalist availability and a changing dynamic within the congregation itself. Its simply too difficult to juggle various worship styles in order to attempt to make everyone feel the “personalized” service experience. And honestly, it has become increasingly difficult to find a worship leader that is a “jack of all trades”, meaning equally affluent in choral, orchestral and contemporary music and management.
What is unified worship?
You can find many articles on the blog on UNIFIED WORSHIP. Here is a great starting place: https://www.renewingworshipnc.org/2013/12/11/unified-worship/
