Having a Missionary Mentality in Worship

Having a Missionary Mentality in Worship

Many of our churches consider themselves missions-minded when it comes to giving and going. What about our corporate worship? Do we think missionally when it comes to worship?

Our worship should not be so foreign to our guests that they cannot understand it.

How should this impact future decisions about corporate worship at your church?

I have witnessed that people are drawn to authentic worship regardless what style ( or in spite of the style) of music being used. My experience has been that when the worship is authentic the music style is irrelevant. The action of worship is a choice, some choose to worship even if the music was “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star”…the most important point is the object of our worship, Jesus Christ.
