I love utilizing powerful worship bands and large orchestras in worship, but there is nothing like moments of unaccompanied singing where people let their voices sing out their praise to God. Do you intentionally plan times of a cappella congregational singing? It might be just a final chorus or other part of a song. It might be that you finish a song and you spontaneously begin another song a cappella that relates to the first. Unaccompanied moments in worship can be very significant worship experiences. Don’t deprive your congregations of those special moments. Begin now to plan for a cappella congregational singing.
