I am planning to do a full review in the next few weeks of CCLI’s Lyric Videos. I am very excited about these resources for churches that do not have adequate musician resources as well as for small group worship. You’ll gain access to a growing range of 1600+ videos, each recorded specifically for use in worship. They come with helpful features like the ability to change the texzt size and layout, enable next line preview, choose different backgrounds, and even adjust the volume of the vocals. Important Notes of Clarification:

  • The lyric video subscription includes the permissions required to play the videos in church services, so no additional licensing is required to use them.
  • The recipient will need a CCLI Profile, both to access the Free Lyric Videos and to access the CCLI Store. If they don’t already have one, there is no cost to signing up. At the Sign In page they’ll have the option to Create a CCLI Profile. They can then link this to their church, or continue without linking. They’ll be able to access the Free Lyric Videos once they’re signed in, regardless of whether they’re linked to a church. Obviously, as the Lyric Videos subscription belongs to the church rather than the individual, they would need to link their account to their church (or set up a new church account) in order to purchase a subscription at the 25% discount.
  • The 25% promotion is triggered automatically when the recipient uses the link in the email to get to the Store, so no discount code is necessary. Click this link to apply the discount:
  • There are two promotions that will give the church the 25% discount:
    • Existing Church Copyright License holders will simply need to select the SongSelect Lyric Videos subscription from the list of available products or click this link to automatically see the discount.
    • For churches without a CCL, they’ll have two options:
      • In the ‘Promotions’ section at the top of the page, they’ll see a ‘Lyric Videos/Church Copyright License (CCL) bundle’. They do not need a CCL to get a Lyric Videos subscription, but if they want one, this bundle will give them the same 25% discount off their first year of lyric videos.
      • Or, if they just want Lyric Videos, they’ll find the subscription as a standalone product further down the page, or click this link, and the subscription will show the 25% discount.
