My recent missions trip to Asia strongly confirmed in me that spending time going deep into worship material with a few individuals has great value and importance. (Take a look)
I have just launched a new training opportunity for NC Baptists–Worship Leader Boot Camp:EXTREME. This experience is for those who want to really understand and apply the material covered in the Worship Leader Boot Camp. Participants will be expected to complete some work before the intense three day conference. Additionally, they will set goals for personal and ministry improvement at the event and will be involved in months of follow up.
For a select group that wants to go deep
As our Worship Leader Boot Camp covers a great amount of material, many have expressed a desire to go deeper in making direct application to their lives and ministries. Worship Leader Boot Camp: EXTREME begins with the Worship Leader Boot Camp material, and then focuses on practically working through the concepts. Focus areas include:
- exploring biblical, missional, cultural and discipleship issues and how they relate specifically to local church settings
- planning worship services
- planning music sets and their connections (key and textual relationships)
- rehearsing bridges to connect songs in a set
- modeling a worship arts team for worship planning
Participants are limited to a small group (no more than 12), which allows for more individualized attention. The event is hosted in various locations and runs Thursday evening through Saturday afternoon.
When & where?
The first Worship Leader Boot Camp: EXTREME is scheduled for November 5-7, 2015 at Caraway Conference Center. The cost, including 2 nights room and 6 meals, is $185 for double occupancy and $209 for a single room.
Due to the limited number of people that can participate, we must limit registrants to one or two per church.
The experience does not end on Saturday, November 7. Participants will be expected to set goals to improve their worship ministry, and there will be ongoing contact to help participants to make those next steps.
Want to participate?

Additional EXTREME experiences will be scheduled in 2016.
Just added: February 18-20, 2016 at Caraway Conference Center.
